Jim Justice placed all 55 counties under a State of Preparedness heading in the holiday weekend. The rain is expected to lessen Sunday with colder temperatures moving in that could produce freezing conditions and some snow by Sunday night. Some areas could receive between 2 and 3 inches of rain.
Twenty-nine of the state’s 55 counties are under flood watch until late Saturday night.

Meteorologists said the heavy rain was being produced by thunderstorms. There were also flash flood warnings posted for parts of McDowell, Wyoming and Raleigh counties. Most of the significant rain was reported in parts of Logan and Mingo counties. Star Wars Eclipse marks another part of Disneys major expansion into building Star Wars games with multiple developers after recreating the Lucasfilm Games brand.
The National Weather Service had already issued several thunderstorm and flash flood warnings by mid-morning. We first heard rumours that Heavy Rain and Detroit developer Quantic Dream was making a Star Wars game back in September, but this is the first official confirmation. Flash flood warnings (red) were issued Saturday morning. West Virginians southern coalfields were getting hit with heavy rain Saturday morning as part of a wide ban of moisture that will continue to move across the state for most all of New Year’s Day.
